Dr. David Satcher

Dr. Satcher is Director of the Satcher Health Leadership Institute, and Professor of Community Health and Preventive Medicine, Family Medicine, and Psychiatry at Moorehouse School of Medicine. Previously, Dr. Satcher served as the 16th Surgeon General of the United States of America, Assistant Secretary of Health and Human Services, and Director of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). Dr. Satcher will give the keynote address at the 2015 Martin Luther King, Jr/Health Equity Symposium here at Penn.
